How Timora Started

Born from frustration with outdated HR processes, Timora began with a simple mission: to build a smarter HRIS and payroll system in the Philippines created by Filipinos, designed for Filipino businesses.

We Saw Filipino Businesses Struggling

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, JAF Digital had only 12 employees and payroll was one of its biggest challenges. With no in-house accountant, everything was computed in Excel while attendance records came from multiple sources like Skype, biometrics, and Google Forms. Completing payroll took three to five days every cut-off.

Many companies as well relied on spreadsheets or outdated systems instead of a modern payroll and HRIS software, making payroll calculations time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when handling government contributions and compliance.

That’s why Timora was built as a cloud based HR and payroll software designed for the Philippine workforce. It helps businesses move away from spreadsheets and toward a reliable HRIS payroll system.
